1. Information about our website

You do not have to disclose your identity nor are you required to submit personal information when visiting our website. The purpose of collecting this information is to better understand how visitors use the website.

  • When you create a profile through our website or apply to one of our job postings through our website or other external websites.
  • When you send us your resume or post your resume through our website for the purposes of seeking employment.
  • When you directly send your contact information via email, phone, or text message to a Modus Intern representative for the purposes of seeking employment.
  • When you register to receive email notifications pertaining to your employment search.
  • When we are verifying your background Prior to our pre-screening process

4. Creating a Profile and Applying for Job Opportunities

You may choose to create a profile for the purposes of making yourself available for job opportunities that we have posted. To register, you must provide an email address and a password and you may be asked additional information if you wish to sign-up as an employer to post job openings.
Please choose a password that is unique and difficult to guess which you have not used previously for other website registrations. Keep your password confidential as we will never ask for this information in unsolicited communications (eg. through phone, email, or text messaging). If you suspect that your account has been compromised please contact us immediately.

5. Administering an Employment Relationship

We collect personal information from you for the purposes of administering an Employment Relationship which involves processes to establish, manage and terminate business activities between employers and job seekers. The personal information used in this context may include the information from your profile, information submitted by email or website forms, information you provide in the course of negotiations, information to conduct background verifications including to verify your identity, qualifications, past work experience, education, training, or similar requirements in connection with an employment position. In the context of administering an employment relationship, we may also use your personal information for the following purposes:

  • To send communications related to requests for information, responses to such requests, training, confirmations and updates
  • For account administration, finance, accounting and dispute management
  • To comply with government tax and reporting obligations

6. Sharing of Personal Information

We do not disclose your personal information to anyone without your consent unless it is set forth in the terms below.

We may expose information to certain third party service providers that perform services on our behalf such as applicant tracking, sales and marketing services, and website hosting and analytics.
